Nap Know-How

Are you feeling tired? If so, then feeling better and more alert may be as simple as taking a quick power nap! Researchers have recently determined that a quick, effective ten to twenty minute nap can reload a person’s energy and enable him or her to get back to work without a problem. Of course, a small burst of sleep isn’t going to have the exact same effects as a longer amount.

Researchers found that those who were too tired to function at maximum capacity may have recovered energy after a twenty minute snooze, but didn’t really improve in terms of memory, cognitive processing, or overall mental speed. To improve in those areas, a nap of at least an hour was needed, researchers found.

The good news is that napping can happen anywhere—at your desk or, preferably, in your nice, comfortable bed. You can even nap outside; just make sure you’re out of direct sunlight and, even then, that you wear sun block. Otherwise you could find yourself worrying about sun spot removal and skin cancer, and having to deal with the threat of cancer and sun spot removal is a whole lot worse than simply feeling tired! #SunSpotRemovalDenver

What Causes Sun Spots?

Many people are interested in learning about sun spot removal methods, and while there certainly are many ways to go about sun spot removal, it’s much better to avoid getting sun spots or sun damage in the first place! While there are many good procedures out there for reducing sun damage, most only fade sun spots. Sure, you can find some procedures to get rid of them entirely, but these are usually more invasive (and expensive!). You can save yourself the time and money by focusing on caring for your skin properly and avoiding excess exposure to the sun.

As you may have guessed, a sun spot appears after a person has been over-exposed to the sun’s harmful rays. Other effects of too-much-sun include the development of fine lines, wrinkles, and perhaps even certain types of skin cancer! You can seriously reduce your risk of sun spots and other unsightly sun-related skin conditions by wearing sunblock daily, even when the sun isn’t shining or the sky looks overcast!

What are Sun Spots?

You’ve probably heard of sun spots before, but do you know exactly what they are? These spots are tiny (or sometimes not-so-tiny) blemishes on the skin that can form due to a number of reasons. One of the most common reasons that sun spots develop is, as the name implies, overexposure to the sun or to tanning beds. Sometimes, sun spots can also be caused by excessive melanin or due to reactions to certain allergens, including the sun. Most people don’t really care what causes these unsightly spots, however; they simply care about finding sun spot removal.
There are several different methods of sun spot removal, but unfortunately, most of them don’t work the way that they claim. While some products, such as creams or natural medications, can help to reduce the appearance of sun spots, most either have no effect or have only very minimal effects. If you truly want to get rid of sun spots for good, laser therapy performed by a qualified, experienced health care professional is your best option.
