Choose the Right Moisturizer to Go Along with Denver Facials

For healthy, beautiful skin, you should get Denver facials from a reputable salon on a regular basis. If you find that your skin needs a little extra help to look younger and more vibrant, you may also want to consider adding periodic Denver chemical peels into your routine. Of course, all of the Denver facials and peels in the world aren’t going to help you if you’re not taking good care of your skin at home. Remember, visits to the spa or salon only happen every so often and, though they can work wonders, they simply aren’t enough to keep your skin flawless and healthy.

Obviously, you’ll want to be sure to wash and thoroughly clean your face every day, especially if you wear makeup during the day. In the morning and at night, you should also be applying a good moisturizer to keep your skin from becoming dry and tight and looking older than its age. You might think that all moisturizers are the same, but that’s actually not the case. Some moisturizers, especially those made with cheap ingredients, can contain harsh chemicals that can only make dryness and aging worse in the long run.

For best results, look for quality ingredients in a moisturizer. Ingredients such as mineral oil, cocoa butter, animal oils, squalene, and lanolin are all considered to be very good for the skin. A good moisturizer will also offer you protection from the sun’s harsh and aging rays—aim for one with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15.
