Denver Tanning Tips

Denver Tanning
If you’re thinking of visiting a Denver tanning salon, stop right there! While tanning beds and other more traditional options can be a quick way to get a glow, they can also lead to skin damage, fine lines, wrinkles, and possibly even skin cancer. That’s why you’re encouraged to go the safer, healthier (and still just as beautiful!) route and choose airbrush or sunless tanning. This type of tanning can work with all skin types. You just want to make sure that you choose a salon that knows what it’s doing. If you choose the wrong one, you could leave looking like a streaky mess. If you choose the right one, like Studio Urban Wax, however, you’ll walk out looking refreshed, healthy, and naturally tan.
Your airbrush Denver tanning session shouldn’t take very long, so you don’t have to map out a huge chunk of time. Best of all, your tan can last for up to ten days! To increase the likelihood that your tan will last and to keep it looking its best, use special tan refreshment products, which can be purchased at the salon. If at all possible, reduce your activity level; the less you sweat and move, the longer your tan will last.
Also, make sure that you prepare for your session properly. You’ll want to exfoliate the skin to remove the dead, flaky top layer. That way, you’ll be tanning the healthy, vibrant layer underneath! You should also avoid lotions, deodorants, or any other product that is applied directly to the skin. These can make it hard or even impossible for the tanning solution to penetrate the skin and create the results you crave.
