It’s Denver Bikini Wax Time

Any time of year can the right time of year for a Denver bikini wax.  There are a few things that you should know prior to your waxing to ensure you do not experience negative consequences as a result of this experience.
First, if you are a diabetic, or suffer from any skin conditions such as psoriasis, you should not have a bikini wax performed.  Also, if you take Accutane or Retinol, you should not have the waxing performed.  If your heart is set on that “oh, so, perfect” bikini line, consult with your physician to discuss any consequences and if you can and should continue with the procedure.
One common question that ladies have is “will the bikini wax hurt?”  The answer is, it will hurt a bit if it is your first time; however, there are a few things that you can do to lessen the degree of pain, which, is not something that is unbearable (trust us, we take great care to make your experience as pain free as possible).  Estheticians recommend not having a Denver bikini wax when you are menstruating or pregnant.  During these times, the woman’s “special parts” are exceptionally sensitive.  Also, feel free to take an aspirin or ibuprofen prior to the wax to lessen the degree of pain felt.   Waxing may hurt a bit, but you can lessen the degree of pain by following the above recommendations and being sure that you are having your bikini area waxed by someone who is a pro at this craft.
There is no doubt that once your session is over, it is worth it, especially when you have a gorgeous pair of legs.  It is an area of the body, that when properly groomed, gives the woman the confidence she needs, and eliminates any need to be self-conscious.

Denver skin care, facials, and chemical peels

English: A Facial mask. Português: Uma Máscara...Image via WikipediaWith the high demand that is placed on time, most individuals spend less time grooming as it takes second place in their daily routine. They tend to perform the basic necessities, such as washing, moisturizing and adding a little makeup. But as with everything else in life, the fastest solution is not always the best solution. Denver skin care, facials, and chemical peels are treatments that add that special something to the grooming palette.
It’s always recommended that you visit a salon to have a professional deal with the more complicated aspects of beauty.  And when it comes to skin care, its super important to communicate with your specialist all the intricacies of your skin.  While a facial is always a relaxing and lovely way to spend the afternoon, microdermabrasion or a chemical peel may help your skin in ways you had not considered. Be open and honest about what’s going on with your face, and leave it to the pro’s to help get you the skin you want to be seen in.
During the colder months you will need to place greater emphasis on caring for your skin by visiting a Denver skin care specialist. Ask for tips and information as to how to protect your skin from the damaging effects of the cold. We will also recommend certain products such as moisturizers to keep your skin protected. By taking these precautions you are preventing skin damage that could literally cost you thousands of dollars to repair or make you appear older than you really are.
Denver skin care, facials, and chemical peels from StudioUrbanWax are some of the best in the area and once you leave our salon, you will have every one complimenting you on just how beautiful you look.
